Chewy Software · Art Director/Producer

Spent nearly two decades as Art Director and Producer at Chewy Software, leading the development of more than 150 shipped titles across console, mobile, and connected-hardware platforms. Partnered directly with clients including Disney, Nickelodeon, Amazon, Wilson, Age of Learning, and Wargaming, translating each client's vision into cohesive, high-quality products from concept through final delivery, balancing creative direction, art direction, production oversight, and hands-on individual contributions depending on the needs of each project.

Wideload Games

I oversaw art production, direction, and was an individual contributor on Chewy Software's work for Wideload Games. On Stubbs the Zombie, we helped create LOD models for in-game characters and objects. The bulk of our work was on Hail to the Chimp, where we built the front-end UI, complete with a fully voiced, animated host in a style that mimicked a news broadcast. Wideload had hired a studio known for news and sports broadcast bumpers to create target videos for that broadcast style, and our challenge was recreating that look using materials rather than the original assets, while significantly cutting down the asset footprint. I created custom animated materials to match what we'd been given, then designed the menus and HUD elements to mirror that same look and feel. We also took the game's main host character and built an animation system that could be driven live with a controller and recorded for in-game playback.

Nickelodeon

Served as Art Director and Creative Director for Chewy Software's partnership with Nickelodeon, acting as their preferred partner across several properties including Blaze and the Monster Machines, Paw Patrol, SpongeBob SquarePants, and Nick Sports. I worked directly with Nickelodeon to develop and pitch game concepts, then bring those concepts to life. During production, I led art direction, and stayed hands-on across projects — developing vehicle rigs, contributing to animation, world and level design, and UI/UX.

Disney

I led art and creative direction across several Disney titles, including Baymax Blast, a Disney Villains mini-game collection, Minnie's Home Makeover design app, and a Mickey Mouse Clubhouse title. For Baymax Blast, I worked through the challenge of coordinating directly with Disney's team before the movie launched, adjusting the game as the script and movie evolved. For the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse title, I collaborated directly with the art team who created the show to deliver high-quality, game-ready assets that matched the show's style and tone.

Age of Learning

I served as Art Director and provided creative direction across two Age of Learning properties spanning multiple games, partnering with them on My Math Academy and a larger collection of games featuring Nano and the Blurts. We worked alongside their internal development team to help round out both properties. Both grew into their own standalone apps while also being integrated into ABC Mouse, extending their reach to a much larger audience.
